ESPN analyst Steve Phillips had a fling with a 22-year-old production assistant, who, after being dumped, taunted his wife with “Fatal Attraction”-like phone calls and a letter that bragged about her sexcapades with Phillips while taking pot shots at their “loveless marriage.”

The former Met general manager, whose tenure with the team was rocked by admissions of infidelity, confessed to his wife and local cops that he had slept with ESPN assistant Brooke Hundley several times this past summer before dumping her.
In retaliation, the jilted young woman repeatedly phoned Phillips’ wife, Marni, saying, “We both can’t have him!” an explosive police report claims.

Hundley’s desperate actions — including accidentally smashing her car into a stone column while speeding away from the Phillips’ home after leaving the letter — terrified the family, according to the Wilton, Conn., police report.
“I have extreme concerns about the health and safety of my kids and myself,” Steve Phillips said in a police statement, adding that the woman became “obsessive and delusional” after he dumped her.
But Phillips, 46, declined to pursue criminal charges against Hundley, a Bristol, Conn., woman who cops learned may have used an ESPN computer to contact Phillips’ 16-year-old son on Facebook while posing as a high-school classmate.
Phillips — who admitted having multiple affairs with women while working for the Mets — is now being sued for divorce by his 40-year-old wife, the mother of his four sons. Two months ago, Phillips deeded the family’s five-bedroom, multimillion-dollar Wilton home to her.
A source told The Post Phillips has been suspended for a week by ESPN — which hired him in 2005 as a baseball analyst — because of the scandal.

Very close. We would lie in bed and talk about the future. He would say how he wanted to make sure my daughter and I would always be okay, and how he would take care of me. There was no talk about marriage, but we did talk about being together.

I don’t think he has ever been apart from Hailey, but he has cheated on Hailey. I know they’ve broken up before. I didn’t know their current status. We talked about it, and he had told me that things were very weird and strange and he would explain it to me, but he didn’t want to hurt me in the process.
I don’t know if Jon has an amazingly long wand in his pants or if he’s got mad skills, but he would turn me off completely. He has eight kids and a semi-crazy ex-wife, it doesn’t exactly make me want to melt my jeans right off.

Just when you thought you may have heard the last of her, someone goes and lets her talk on a microphone.
Eminem’s ex-wife has launched a scathing attack against the rap superstar in a new radio interview, describing him as a “horrible person” and dubbing him a flop in bed.
Eminem and Kim Mathers split for good last year (2008), after a second attempt at marriage.
During an interview with Detroit, Michigan station WKQI, Mathers insists another reconciliation is out of the question. She rants,
“I can’t stand him. He’s an absolutely horrible person and he gets worse every day. I vomit in my mouth whenever I’m around him or I hear his name. There’s nothing left in me for him. Nothing at all.
He’s not very well endowed. If you’re going to have sex with Marshall, make sure you have a little blue pill, because otherwise it does not work.”

Anne Heche has it in for her ex-husband and let it out last night in an interview with David Letterman.
“Oh gosh, can you say ‘lazy ass’ on television?” Heche asked, referring to Coley Laffoon, the father of her 7-year old son, Homer, to whom she pays monthly child support.
That the the feud was still on was made clear, when Letterman asked what Laffoon does for a living.
“He goes out to the mailbox and he opens up the little mailbox door and goes ‘Oh! I got a check from Anne! Oh my God! I got a check from Anne! Yay!’
“He wants me to come and watch him run around in his little white shorts playing soccer. Honestly, I don’t want to come to rehearsal and watch you run around in your tight shorts like trying to pretend you know how to play soccer. I divorced you! I don’t want to hang around with you Thursdays and Saturdays, and maybe on Sunday.”
Laffoon, who filed for divorce in February 2007, didn’t take his ex’s words kindly. Lafoon, an employee with Los Angeles real estate company Hilton & Hyland, told Usmagazine.com,
“After coming home from showing two different clients two different condominiums, I was disturbed to see Anne taking out her personal frustration on the father of her child on national television. I wish Anne Heche could see that public bullying isn’t good for the soul or positive for her child. It’s mean.”
The actress, 40, even went so far as to chastise Letterman for getting married.
When Letterman asked why Laffoon continued hanging on, Heche had a ready answer: “I’m so fantastic.”
Hugh Hefner’s estranged wife is suing the Playboy king, claiming he owes her more than $5 million.
Kimberly Conrad married Hef back in 1989. They had a prenup. Approximately 9 years later they split but never divorced. When they separated, they signed an amendment to the prenup which guaranteed Kimberly a ton of money.
For 10 years, Kimberly has been living in the house next to the Playboy mansion with their two sons. Everything was going swimmingly, until Hef decided to sell the house this year. According to the lawsuit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Hef allegedly announced he was not going to honor the agreement anymore and she had 9 months to get out of the house.
“I was surprised and saddened to learn of press reports that Kimberly Hefner, from whom I have been separated for over 10 years, has apparently filed suit claiming that I owe her $5 million.
Because neither I nor my attorneys have seen the suit I cannot comment on any of the specific allegations. However, contrary to what has been reported, I have always honored all of my obligations to Kimberly, and in fact I have provided her with substantial funds in excess of the agreed upon amount, and well in excess of any amount suggested or required under California law.
I am quite confident that when all the facts are known it will become clear that all of my financial obligations throughout the marriage have been generously dealt with.”
The money issues are complicated, but the bottom line — Kim says Hef owes her more than $5 mil.
If former NFL star Steve McNair’s girlfriend was upset about being arrested for drunken driving two days before she killed him and herself, she didn’t let it show.
McNair was a passenger in Sahel Kazemi’s car when Nashville police arrested her a week ago. Police released video of that DUI stop Wednesday, the same day they confirmed that Kazemi, 20, had killed McNair and then herself in a condo McNair rented.
In the video, recorded by patrol car cameras, Kazemi laughed and teased the officer, but also repeatedly asked to have McNair come to the window of the police cruiser where she was sitting.
The officer responded, “He’s not happy.” McNair, who wasn’t charged, left in a cab without talking to her.
“I told him you wanted to talk to him and he was more than welcome to come back to the car. He just left in a taxi,” Officer Shawn Taylor told Kazemi.
It’s another allegation to come to light since the former NFL star’s death July 4. A new allegation surfaced Friday as the New York Daily News reported, via an anonymous source, that McNair carried on a six-year affair with an exotic dancer in Minneapolis.
According to the source, whom the News referred to as a “former business manager,” McNair was a “frequent visitor to the club and had an intimate and extramarital relationship” with said dancer.
According to this person, the woman knew McNair was married with children, but still didn’t care.
“She liked money and athletes,” the former business manager said on condition of anonymity. “She went out with athletes before. She was one of those girls who said, ‘You’re married? You have kids? So what?’ Lets have fun.”
“I can tell you that she was very upset when she learned that he had died,” the former business manager added.
Of course he wasn’t happy about the DUI — my guess is that she demanded he leave his wife or else. Affairs are nasty business!
Michael Jackson’s ex-wife Debbie Rowe was in a feisty mood on Sunday. While leaving a restaurant in Lancaster, Calif., Rowe snapped back at a photographer who was peppering her with questions about the custody of her kids with the late pop star.
“Are you ready to fight for your children?” one reporter asked repeatedly. After he got a little close, Rowe lashed out: “Are you ready to get your butt kicked? Don’t f—-in’ touch me!”
Rowe, the biological mother of two of the children, told a NBCLA reporter last week that she’ll fight for custody. She’s planning on seeking a restraining order against Michael Jackson’s father, Joe Jackson. “I am stepping up. I have to,” Rowe said.
She’s fighting to get custody of the three children left behind by Jackson: Michael Joseph Jr. (12), Paris Michael Katherine (11) and Prince Michael II (7). Prince Michael II was born to an unidentified surrogate mother. Rowe said during the interview that she doesn’t want to split the children up, and though she doesn’t expect to gain custody of Prince Michael II since he’s not her biological child, she’d be willing to accept custody of him.
Rowe, now 50, surrendered her parental rights during her divorce from Jackson in 1999.
In Jackson’s 2002 will, he requested that his mother be named guardian of the children, and also specifically states that Rowe should not get any inheritance. “I have intentionally omitted to provide for my former wife, Deborah Jean Rowe Jackson,” Jackson’s will states.
There will be a custody hearing on July 13 to determine whether Jackson’s mother will remain guardian to the children.
An attorney for Rowe said on Monday that she is backing out of plans to attend the pop star’s memorial service on Tuesday. Marta Almli said her attendance would be “an unnecessary distraction” and that Rowe will “celebrate Michael’s memory privately.”

Looks like the third time isn’t the charm for the Piano Man.
Billy Joel and his latest wife, Katie Lee, are splitting up, the couple confirmed to the Daily News on Wednesday.
“After nearly five years of marriage, Billy and Katie have decided to separate,” reps for the pair said in a joint statement.
“This decision is the result of much thought and consideration. Billy and Katie remain caring friends, with admiration and respect for each other.”
Rumors have swirled for months that Joel’s third marriage was on the rocks.
Various reports have linked Lee, a 27-year-old chef and author, with Yigal Azrouel, a dashing 36-year-old Israeli-born fashion designer who has frequently escorted her to events.
Sources reported seeing them dirty dancing in Miami in January and have claimed that in unguarded moments Azrouel referred to Lee as “my girlfriend.”
Reps for the Joel’s insisted that Azrouel was just a friend and that Billy, 60, was happy to skip the parties, fashion shows and fundraisers that his younger wife enjoyed.
“Their decision to separate was absolutely unrelated to Yigal,” Joel’s spokeswoman, Claire Mercuri said.
“It was really the age difference that caught up with them. They grew apart. She is very career-oriented. She loves going out. She loves the city. When Billy isn’t touring, he’d rather be on Long Island with his motorcycles and boats.”
But a longtime pal of Joel insisted “he’s always remained faithful to Katie. When he was touring with Elton John, he flew home almost every night. He rarely stayed in a hotel room. When would he have done this supposed fooling around?”
In recent weeks, Joel has been living on Long Island, where he owns mansions in Sag Harbor and Sagaponack. Lee is said to have stayed at the couple’s Manhattan townhouse, not far from Azrouel’s boutique.

Kate Hudson and Alex Rodriguez were spotted getting cozy last month at a restaurant in New York City, and now a source confirms they are dating.
“It’s somewhat serious. He introduced her to a bunch of his friends.”
For her part, Hudson followed Rodriguez on the road late last month to Dallas, when the Yankees played the Texas Rangers in a three-game series. The actress and son Ryder, 5 (dad is Chris Robinson), stayed at the same hotel as Rodriguez, and the couple “worked out together in the fitness center,” says an eyewitness.
“For one of the games, she sent Ryder and his nanny to the ballpark while she stayed behind and watched the game from the hotel. She remarked several times about what a big baseball fan she is!”

Two years after an affair with a local television reporter ended his marriage, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigo was spotted getting close with another on-air journalist – one who has reported on the mayor in the past.
L.A.’s NBC Channel 4 broke the story Monday, posting photos of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Lu Parker in a local bookstore. Parker is a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor for KTLA-TV Channel 5. She is also a former Miss U.S.A.
Officials at the station confirmed that Parker and the mayor have been dating since March, the L.A. Times reported, and added that Parker will no longer cover politics.
Two years ago, the mayor’s affair with a reporter and anchor for the local Telemundo affiliate ended his 20-year marriage, the Times reported. Villaraigosa and his wife separated. Their divorce isn’t final yet.
The mayor’s spokesman had no comment on Villaraigosa’s current relationship, the Times reported.
The moral of this story is… um, nothing. He will obviously never learn.
