Demi Moore Spends $500,000 On Plastic Surgery, Still Can’t Get Any Roles

Demi Moore has spent $500,000 on plastic surgery to make herself look younger, but it’s not helping her career any. So now Demi is speaking out against ageism in Hollywood. I don’t hear the other 40-something actresses complaining, but then again, they haven’t spent the cash Demi has.
The Daily Mail quotes Demi:
“It’s been a challenging few years, being the age I am. Almost to the point where I felt like, well, they don’t know what to do with me. I am not 20. Not 30.
“There aren’t that many good roles for women over 40. A lot of them don’t have much substance, other than being someone’s mother or wife.
“If we are told we are not valuable once we hit 30, it is a problem,” she said. “We all have more to give.
“We can’t just wait for something to happen. We have to say, ‘I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it any more’.”
The surgery worked out OK for 2003’s “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle”
Since then, though, she has only had two films: “Bobby” and “Half Light”. Ex-husband Bruce Willis, on the other hand, has appeared in 13.
Sucks to be a hot 40-year-old, huh?
