Greetings from LA

Hi Everyone,

It’s been a busy few days. I’ve been house-hunting in L.A. and looking at some schools for the last few days. It’s unusually cold here but the sky is blue and the sun is shining which makes everywhere look very pretty.

I’ve been so touched by the support from all the people we’ve met. People in the street have been calling out things like “Welcome Home, we’re so excited you’re here.” That has been fantastic, and one of the best things about
this trip.

We’ve been lucky enough to be invited to a couple of Golden Globe parties, and met a lot of great people. As for the clothes – wow – there are some gorgeous dresses being worn by Hollywood’s finest. I wore a Cavalli a-line shift dress. It had a detailed neckline and little pockets in the most gorgeous plum colour with beautiful shoes covered in shimmering crystals by Le Silla. It was FABULOUS !

I’m still finding my way around as LA is a big place I’m trying to work out how to get from Santa Monica to Malibu, and from Brentwood to Bel Air… But we’ll get there. The sooner the better – the kids want to know the quickest way to Disneyland !
