Jessica Alba Nude in Playboy
Or, so Playboy would have you believe.
Jessica Alba, known primarily for showing her nubile body in nude and semi-nude photos, is suing Playboy for putting her on the cover of the March 2006 issue and implying that she is inside in a nude or semi-nude pictorial, when she is not. Smoking Gun reports:
Actress Jessica Alba, who appears in a bikini on the cover of Playboy’s March issue, is threatening to sue the magazine, claiming that Hugh Hefner & Co. are trying to make it seem that she appears in a “nude or semi-nude pictorial.” In a February 23 legal threat letter, a copy of which you’ll find below, Alba’s lawyer demands that Playboy cease distributing the magazine and provide the 25-year-old actress with a “monetary settlement” for its unauthorized use of her image for commercial purposes. According to Brian Wolf, Alba’s counsel, the venerable men’s magazine has caused the young star “immeasurable harm” by placing her on its cover (Alba appears next to a cover line billboarding a story on the 25 sexiest celebrities).
Frankly, this is very confusing to Alba fans, who might be diverted from her appearance in Cinemania (sadly, just a reprint of her appearance in the September 2005 Esquire.

You know, its funny, but I noticed that cover and having a pretty decent feeling that she didn’t pose in the magazine, was wondering if they’d get in trouble for this.
If you read the caption carefully, and by itself, it doesn’t really imply she is nude. But putting her on the cover WOULD give people that impression.
Where they can really be in trouble though is using the pic commercially if they don’t have a release.. The sexy pics listed below your article don’t really matter. I’ve seen models who will wear sheer lingerie to a shoot and not feel nude, but won’t do nudes for any price or reason. It may seem silly, but its their right to draw their line in the sand and stick by it. She is a celebrity, and a great deal of this country is still conservative, and still considers Playboy porn. So she has a pretty good argument going for her..
