Britney Spears Barefoot Days Over?

Egotastic speculates that perhaps the incident wherein she stepped on a needle and needed to rush to the hospital will convince Britney Spears that it’s not a great idea to go around barefoot in public.

That’s right, little miss I don’t need no damn shoes was stepping out of her car barefoot, when she stepped on the needle. . . . I think I just heard the whole word say “I told you so.” Talk about Instant Karma. Well kids, I think we all learned a valuable lesson today. Always wear your shoes outside. And Britney Spears is White Trash. I guess that’s two lessons.

Indeed, in addition to the infamous photos of Britney barefoot coming out of a public restroom (eeew!) she has a long history of eschewing shoes in public.
